Your first agent in four steps

1 min read Updated on
On this page

With your account created, setting up your first agent takes just a few steps. Here’s the complete path, from start to finish.

1. Create the agent

From the dashboard, create a new agent. Give it a clear name and choose the role it will play: customer service, bookings, or support, depending on what your business needs.

2. Choose the AI engine

Decide which engine your agent uses: the one Hagabox manages or your own provider. You can change it later without losing the rest of the configuration.

3. Add its knowledge

Create folders with your documents (rates, schedules, protocols, frequently asked questions) and connect them to the agent. As soon as you connect a folder, the agent trains instantly with its content.

4. Activate it

With its name, role, AI engine, and knowledge ready, your agent can start conversing. Remember you can turn knowledge folders on or off whenever you want to adjust what it knows.

From here, the rest of the guide goes deeper into each step: creating agents, defining their role, and organizing knowledge.
