Choose the AI engine

Every agent needs an AI engine to generate its responses. Hagabox gives you two paths to get there, and you can choose whichever fits your business best.

The engine Hagabox manages

If you don’t want to deal with the technical side, you can use the AI engine that Hagabox manages. It’s the most direct option: you choose this route and the agent is ready to respond with the knowledge you’ve given it.

Your own AI provider

If you already work with your own AI provider, you can connect it to your agent instead of using Hagabox’s engine. This gives you control over which provider is behind your agents’ responses.

How to choose

The decision depends on your situation:

• If you want to get started quickly without managing your own infrastructure, Hagabox’s engine is the simplest route.
• If your business already has a trusted AI provider, connecting it lets you keep that relationship.

You can change it later

The AI engine isn’t a closed decision: you can change it from the dashboard whenever you want. The agent’s name, role, and knowledge stay intact — only who generates the responses changes.
