Assign actions to your agent

Once you’ve activated a channel, the next step is deciding what your AI agent can do on it. This is defined by assigning actions from the dashboard.

What actions are

Actions are the specific tasks your agent can carry out during a conversation: handling bookings, answering your customers’ frequent questions, or escalating to a person when the situation calls for it. Each action determines how the agent responds on each channel.

How to assign them

From the dashboard, go to your agent’s settings and choose the actions you want to turn on. You can assign the same actions across WhatsApp Business, Telegram, and your website chat, or set them up differently per channel.

Publish the changes

Actions don’t go live until you publish. Review the settings and publish when you’re satisfied: from that moment on, your agent starts using them in real conversations, which you can follow in the unified inbox.

Adjust whenever you want

You can come back to this configuration and change the assigned actions whenever you need to. There’s no need to wait for a billing cycle or contact anyone: changes are applied right from the dashboard.
